GLC is a Joint Accreditation provider and promotes interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) activities specifically designed to improve interprofessional collaboration in health care delivery. Joint Accreditation is a collaboration of the:

  • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)

  • Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)

  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

GLC strives to educate physicians and all members of the care team on scientifically rigorous, credible, independent content that is relevant to their professional practices and that contributes to improvements to their strategies, skills, performance, and coordination as healthcare teams. Our IPCE program:

  • Provides scientific, clinical, and/or outcomes-based education that addresses the practical and communication needs of the interprofessional healthcare team.

  • Plans educational activities that are evidence-based, fair and balanced, scientifically objective, and free of commercial bias.

  • Demonstrates achieving expected results by articulating changes in knowledge/awareness, changes in skills/strategy, confidence, and communication of the healthcare team.
